No time for grocery shopping? - Buy these ingredients online!

In todays busy society I can imagine you don't always have the time to do grocery shopping. Luckily you can buy most ingredients you need for your delicious homemade Hummus on line! Good news is also that all listed ingredients below are organic and vegan!

Light Grey Celtic Sea Salt 1 Pound Resealable Bag – Additive-Free, Delicious Sea Salt, Perfect for Cooking, Baking and More - Gluten-Free, Non-GMO Verified, Kosher and Paleo-Friendly
Light Grey Celtic Sea Salt 1 Pound Resealable Bag – Additive-Free, Delicious Sea Salt, Perfect for Cooking, Baking and More - Gluten-Free, Non-GMO Verified, Kosher and Paleo-Friendly
In my kitchen I always cook with Celtic Sea Salt. It is 100% organic, contains lots of minerals and you can use it outside the kitchen as well! Super healthy and very affordable too! Great tip for your health: Make a solution of 1/3 Celtic Sea Salt plus 2/3 water, add 2-3 drips of this solution to a large bottle of water and drink 2 glasses every day for your health! You can also water your plants with it (water from the bottle) or give the water solution to your pets!

Hummus in a Nutshell

-Hummus is a creamy spread of cooked Chickpeas, Tahini (Sesame Paste), Olive Oil, Sea Salt, Garlic and Lemon. This delicious spread is originally from the Middle East.

-The basic is 100% Vegan, meaning both Vegetarians and Vegans can eat it!

-100 Grams of Hummus contains at least 225 calories, but don't worry. This is because of the Olive Oil which is a very healthy unsaturated fat!

Homemade Hummus Video Demonstration!

This lady uses canned Chickpeas for her demonstration. It's up to you what you prefer. I always go for fresh ones, because I have no clue what's inside these cans!

The Cumin she uses is optional, I prefer not too because Cumin has a strong special taste. I advice you to leave it out because your basics need to have a neutral taste!

You can, but I don't recommend doing this. The defrosting process will change the structure and the taste of your Hummus. It will become more fluid and you don't want that.
